Why Courts Vision Elite?
Although we understand there are lots of different AAU travel basketball teams in the state of Michigan to choose from, we believe the family atmosphere we provide sets us apart from all other teams. We are consistently pushing and developing these kids to play at their full potential, but in a family environment. The kids become brothers (and sisters coming soon!!) and the parents become family. We all want the same thing for these kids; to be able to play at the highest level achievable and to develop into good hearted young adults.

What is AAU Travel Basketball?
AAU travel basketball is a competitive level of basketball the kids can play all year round and have more opportunities than a typical school team would provide.
-
What does a typical practice schedule look like?
Practice depends on the grade, most of our teams practice twice a week, primarily in the Redford School Distrcit.
-
What if I can't make it to a tournament?
We totally understand AAU basketball is a huge commitment and most of our players come from bigger families. We try to be as flexible and accommodating as possible, as most of our players are multi-sport athletes. We encourage families to exhaust all options first, but if your kid can still not make it due to transportation, please reach out and we will see if a parent or coach can assist. We do know that life is busy, so we try to make it so no kids have to miss out.

What is the different between the Spring and Fall Season?
Elementary and middle school do have Fall seasons. In Fall the schedule consists of almost primarily local tournaments. Due to most kids playing school ball during the Fall season, we tend to have calmer seasons in the fall.
-
What does a typical tournament day look like?
A key thing to note about tournaments is the schedule can be changed all the way up until the morning of the tournament. This is not ideal, but we do like to inform people ahead of time so that you are not making time sensitive commitments on the days of tournaments. Sometimes all week the schedule may look like your kid will only be having morning games, and then the day of the tournament it could be switched to all evening games. This happens at both local and out of town tournaments. A typical tournament day will vary based on so many factors so we always encourage to keep the day of the tournament free. (Same goes for our 2 or 3 day tournaments)

What if I am interested in coaching?
We are ALWAYS looking for new coaches. If you are interested at all reach out! With all the different grade levels we have, there is always room for more coaches!
-
What if my kid cannot make it to practice?
We do hold the kids responsible for communicating if they will be missing a practice. We do require the kids to let us know 24-48 hours in advance, if possible (we know last second things come up). But we like to hold the kids in our program accountable. Playing time and starting spots will also depend upon practice attendance so we really encourage all the kids to try to be at practice.
-
What if I am interested in joining but the season's already started?
We always encourage people to reach out no matter what point in the season we are at. There is always a chance (not a guarentee) that we could have spots available!
